I've wondered the same. But then, many of them seem to be purists. I follow terrain theory like he does but he doesn't realize that with anything there's a dose response curve. Take too much in a short time without the k2 to support it could cause issues but is far far from the recommended dose.
I take d3 5,000 iu (with k2) per day, sometimes 10,000 if I feel weak in winter.
Heavier doses than that I would do only in an emergency situation...
First, consider that the skin makes vitamin D from the UVB rays in sunlight. Do you think we were designed to be poisoned by the sun? Of course not. What wild-eyed commentators fail to mention in their “vitamin D is rat poison” histrionics is the dose in the rat poison approaches 100 MILLION IUs. One hundred million. Not 5000, not 10,000 IUs but 100,000,000. Plus rat physiology is particularly sensitive to calcium dysregulation the 100,000,000 IUs would cause. The commentator uses percentages to distort the ratios to lead you to conclude that the vitD content is small (which it is relative to the filler in the bait) when in reality the vitD is astronomical compared to physiological needs.
If you feel that vitD is dangerous conduct your affairs accordingly. Better yet, perhaps getting them in order would be a better use of the time you’ll have left if you shun the sun and vitD.
I commented in another thread how these people saying D3 is rat poison aren't seeing how the moderate-low dose is 5,000-10,000iu which is way way lower than the doses they used to poison rats.
Another drug they use to kill rats.. Blood thinners like coumadin.
It's all in the dose.
But you would think these alt doctors or alt chemists would realize that simple principle of dosage amount?
They also say Ivermectin is toxic because of some study that it caused sterility. But the dosages were high in that group and they were taking it routinely.
Yes, I would definitely agree that the proper dosing is very critical to realize an effect! Dr. Sircus also points this out quite often as well in his Substack.

How do the following impact the dosage of D3 required to maintain an optimal level. I currently take 5000iu but have very infrequent testing.
